BLADE SERVICE

Keeping blades in good condition is vital for a turbine to generate its designed power.

If erosion of leading edges is left unrepaired, moisture may be able to penetrate and evolve into even greater damages.

Blade & Tower Inspection

Our team identifies potential problem areas, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend repairs.

Inspections are performed using visual or advanced non-destructive testing methods. Findings are reported in a concise and useful format, delivered electronically for efficient collaboration across departments.

Blade & Tower Repair

Focus on blade maintenance and repair is extremely important in ensuring high performance of a wind turbine but also in terms of extending a turbine’s lifetime.

We offer experienced and dedicated rope access teams to conduct Blade & Tower repairs onshore as well as offshore. Furthermore, we are able to carry out inspections from cranes and Man Elevating Work Platforms - MEWP.

Blade Refubishment

Lifetime extension for rotors exposed to harsh environment, rotors with severe lightning damage or rotors dismantled due to repowering?

Vento Energy Support has the required expertise and equipment to execute complete refurbishment of rotors. We offer to repair blades in an “onsite” hospital and we can arrange the entire process including transport, cranes etc

Blade Replacement

If you need rotor lifetime extension on a number of identical turbines, Vento Energy Support is experienced in arranging a set-up for clusters or wind parks. Our focus is to reduce downtime of your turbines.

We are able to supply a refurbished set of blades and sequentially replace your rotor with a set of refurbished blades, thereby reducing downtime significantly

Rope Access

Thanks to rope access teams, we are able to service, inspect and repair wind turbines and blades - both onshore and offshore bringing down maintenance costs and keeping out-of-service time to a minimum.

Our rope access staff is trained in wind turbines and blade maintenance. As a minimum, our rope professionals are certified to IRATA level 1 and Blade level B.
